Camila Cabello - Camila (January 12th, 2018)
Hmm, no, not really. That’s my opinion tho.
It’s a decent little album. There’s some clunky material here and there, but it’s a good start. I’m more interested in how her followup will sound.
So, after sitting with the album for a day, I’ve decided it’s not entirely a horrid affair, but the sequencing really lets it down. That and the original promo singles should have been placed in the standard tracklisting with the clunkier material removed altogether.
2. Havana (Solo Version)
3. She Loves Control
4. Never Be the Same
5. Consequences
6. In the Dark
7. Into It
8. OMG featuring Quavo
9. Crying in the Club
10. A Good Reason to Go
Gave the album a listen and so far my favorites are Havana (obviously), Inside Out, In the Dark and Something’s Gotta Give. It’s a pretty solid debut.
I like the ballads, Inside Out & She Loves Control
Not a bad album, but too few “new” song on it.
… and how 7 new song are enough for a WHOLE new album experience??? For me it is not enough.
Sorry, but new albums for me has at least 9-10 new songs and the previously released singles.
If you are OK with 7 new songs then cool.
I’m actually glad for the 7 new songs. Lets be real, you’d have been pissed off more if they had added CITC, OMG and IHQ onto it. You would have had less new songs.
After all these deletes I am not gonna buy this album, maybe when it will be as reissue with OMG, CINTC etc then maybe…
