Yeah, so, I think I’ve decided that I’m not fond of TWICE. There’s not really a stand out vocalist and for the most part, the majority of them sound shrill.

I assume NCT will disappear for a few months after this and then announce an international sub-unit? NCT China?

They’ll go back to promoting as sub units again. NCT 127 have promotions in Japan late May, China line has a unit consisting of Chenle, Kun, Lucas, Renjun and Winwin debuting soon, and Ten will be part of a duo with an unknown member. I wouldn’t be surprised if the unknown member is someone who hasn’t been added to the group.

That was… a next level experience.
I think the camera-work in most of NCT’s music videos for this album are quite revolutionary and unique within K-pop at the moment, but at times it was a little too much when coordinated with some of the heavy choreography. That’s my only critique.

I’m quite happy that promotions for this era have finally come to an end. As much as I love the entire group together, I prefer them in their individual units where less popular members have more time to shine. That and I’m looking forward to new music. As much as I love what Empathy had to offer, I know each unit is capable of better. I’m looking forward to what China line has to offer and I’m curious whether Ten will be working with a current member or someone entirely new.
Speaking of individual unit promotions, SM has released details regarding Chain!
