Lovesick (formerly known as Scrotal Recall) is a British sitcom created by Tom Edge and stars Johnny Flynn, Antonia Thomas, Daniel Ings and Joshua McGuire. The show was originally aired on Channel 4, it was made available by Netflix, who then commissioned a second series globally on 17 November 2016 where it was billed as a Netflix Original. The show was renewed for a third series, released on 1 January 2018.
The show revolves around a group of English friends sharing a house in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland and their romantic lives. Dylan (Johnny Flynn) is diagnosed with chlamydia and must contact all of his previous sexual partners to inform them that he has the disease. Dylan’s best friends are Luke (Daniel Ings), and Evie (Antonia Thomas), who for years has harboured a secret crush on Dylan but has now moved on and has become recently engaged. The majority of each episode of the show is told through a flashback, showing Dylan’s encounters with a number of women, as well as the changes his friends go through.
I recently discovered this on Netflix and I really like it, the episodes are short, the story is good, and it’s fun. Anyone else here a fan?
