Paul McCartney, Lorde, Mac DeMarco, and many more artists are auctioning off shoes for charity. Each pair is signed by the artist and some have additional messages or markings. The auction, run by Charity Stars, benefits the UK-based non-profit organization Small Steps Project, which provides emergency aid to individuals living on landfills and garbage dump environments. Other musicians that are participating in the auction include Grimes, Killer Mike, the National, Patti Smith, members of Depeche Mode, Sia, Moby, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, and others. Actors like Benedict Cumberbatch, Natalie Portman, and Adam Scott are also offering up their used footwear. All shoes end auctioning November 21.
