Singer-songwriter Teddy Geiger, who has penned hits for Shawn Mendes and One Direction and had their own debut album Underage Thinking peak at no. 8 in the Billboard 200 in 2006, announced they are in the process of transitioning.
After a fan asked the singer about their recent change in appearance on Instagram, Geiger decided to respond with a frank explanation. They posted a screenshot of their reply to the fan’s comment, saying: “Okay…because u asked nicely… I am transitioning. I started talking about it with a couple of my close friends and family about a month ago and it’s given me the courage to start the process. I feel like the next step is to tell y’all. So here goes.
