This movie is so damn unnecessary, like nobody asked for it and definitely not with Sophie Turner. While I somehow get why they want to give the “Dark Phoenix” storyline a new try, they should have gotten the story right the first time around with Famke as Jean Grey. Just give us New Mutants and Deadpool 2 and let Marvel reboot the series (and manage to get Ryan Reynolds somehow to continue within the MCU).

I don’t want them to fuck up this story again but I’m pretty sure they will. Oh well, I’m a sucker for Jean so I’m still here for this.
